Thank you for your interest in trying out for VE Travel Soccer. Tryouts for our 2018/ 2019 travel teams will take place weeknights from April 2nd and April 13th. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page for age group specific information. Our tentative coaching staff for each age group can be found here.

Players wishing to tryout for our Travel Team Program should make every effort to be at BOTH tryouts listed for their age group. Some age groups might have an additional "invitation only" tryout.

Please note that upon being selected to a team, players have 10 days to commit to VE Soccer.

Cost

• $20 (Includes t-shirt and two nights of tryouts)

Dates & Times

• Monday, April 2 - Friday, April 13
• Tryouts will be conducted in two 90-minute blocks (6:00-7:30 PM and 7:30-9:00 PM) each night.
• For more information on exact times and field assignments, please refer to the information associated with your child's gender and birth year at the bottom of this page.

Age Group Eligibility

• Players do NOT need to have played at VE before in order to tryout.
• Birth certificates are collected after tryouts to confirm age.
• Players who are currently playing up are still eligible to tryout in an older age group. For example, a player born in 2006 may tryout for the 2005 team. 
• Overage players will NOT be considered and will be removed from the tryout process.

Pre-Registration for Tryouts

• Current VE travel team players are still expected to pre-register for tryouts.
• Players not currently on an VE travel team will also need to pre-register for tryouts. This is necessary so that we can get a proper head count and so that we can notify players of any last minute date, time or field changes.
• Players not currently playing at VE who would like to be seen by our age group coaches in advance of the tryout dates are asked to contact the age group contact listed below. Our coaches will make every effort to invite your child to an upcoming training session so that the coaches can watch him / her in action. This will help our coaches see your child on the soccer field and also enable you to meet our VE coaches.

General Tryout Information

• Tryouts will last approximately 90 minutes unless noted in the information below.
• Dogs and pets are NOT allowed on our fields.
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in at the registration table and get a tryout shirt.
